De’Juana Waters-Herald is a passionate youth advocate, community builder, and transformational leader committed to creating equitable opportunities for families and young people. Raised in a community impacted by socioeconomic challenges, she turned lived experience into purpose—founding Bridge the Village, an organization dedicated to educating, supporting, and empowering youth and families through collaboration and advocacy. As CEO of both Bridge the Village and Given Charge Services, De’Juana is known for uniting diverse stakeholders, fostering inclusive spaces, and leading initiatives that strengthen communities from the ground up. Her leadership is rooted in empathy, resilience, and a deep belief in the power of collaboration and honest conversation to drive lasting change. Through her work, she continues to inspire others to build stronger, more connected communities where young people can thrive.
